What TV Show's are you watching/looking forward to?

I just binge watched JUSTFIED on Hulu. I never saw it when it first came out on FX, so I didn't know what I was getting into. Two thumbs up from me, it's great!

I was sick in bed with the flu from Friday up to yesterday, so I managed to get a lot of tv time inbetween the Super Rugby and Cricket. Finally watched the Witcher, and completed the whole season.

Then I also started watching the Prodigal Son. first episode immediately grabbed me, so I'm looking forward to see how this story progresses.

Welcome back to the living, glad you're feeling better.

Just started re-watching Westworld season 2

Season 3 snuck up on me so I need the refresher before I start that

IMDb has a lot of movies and TV shows available. Some cost and some are free. I'm currently enjoying the 94 episode TV show Wanted: Dead Or Alive starring a young Steve McQueen. He plays a former confederate soldier turned bounty hunter back in the days of the American Wild West. https://www.imdb.com/

IMDb was bought out by Amazon, so the prices should be the same as there's. Wanted: Dead Or Alive is free and it's pretty good. Steve McQueen said "Three hard mother-grabbin' years, but I learned my trade and it gave me discipline."

Has anyone both read and watched The Boys?

I'm reading it atm - just towards the end of the 3rd omnibus. Absolutely loving it, and really want to watch the show too, but don't want to spoil the comics for me - anyone know how far the show goes through the books?

I haven't read it yet but from what I understand there's a decent divergence in the two so a lot of plot points and characterisation are different.

If you do read it don't make my mistake and read it on trains/airplanes.
Way too much shagging and ***s to be read where people might look over your shoulder

Haha, noted. I bought it on Comixology when it was on sale for the TV series and had completely forgotten about it. I've read Preacher which is by Ennis as well and he certainly earns the explicit tag.

I've heard a lot of good things about preacher, definitely going to be my next read after The Boys - didn't realise it was the same guy

Disney+ came in today. Watched Simpsons seasons 3-7 just before Christmas so I'll go 8-13 and then a selection from 1, 2, 13 and 14. There's a good three weeks in that anyway!

I might get Disney+, £6 a month is a good deal
Do they have console apps? My countryside internet struggles with streaming HD to chromecast but consoles are fine

Yeah I got it this morning and have been watching on Xbox. Apparently some people are having trouble with it though.

Also jumping on the Disney+ Bandwagon. Have a deal with siblings we all pay for a streaming service each. Not a huge amount on it that interests me right now as I've already seen Mandalorian, but I'll probably re-watch some Marvel movies.
Also has anyone watched Britannia? It's really odd, off the rails and I'm not 100% what they're going for, but enjoyed season 1 well enough. Also planning on catching up with Ozark at some stage.

Mileage on Disney+ will vary

For me there's a ton of 80's/early 90's children TV nostalgia porn. Some of it was actually good.

That's what's interesting me the most.
There's a ton of films I like on there, but the ease of being able to just stick the simpsons or malcolm in the middle on in the background is very tempting.

They were doing a deal of £49 for the year. That works out at £4 a month. Not sure if that's expired or not.
