We all know something that is really geeky that you don't often tell. Here you can as we will (mostly) marvel at your awesome/useless tidbits of info. I shall go first;

Did you know that George Takei's character's limo in Heroes Series 1 has the registration plate NCC1701 which was the Enterprise's registry number.

Beat that all you nerds

No need to lie.

Nope ..that's the god awful truth ...Every second sunday (the day it was my choice of activity between myself and my sister) I would pressure them into taking the lot of us to Ferrycarrig ...spent the best days of my life on the ramparts of the early celtic ringfort...

When I was younger I spend a day in Toledo, in Spain, and bought a pretty cool sword. A couple of years back there was a noise in he middle of the night and, as I don't own a baseball bat, I assumed the defence of the household with my Toledan sword. When my wife told our four year old daughter, all her suspicions about my secret identity were confirmed: I actually am Superman.

PS: There was no one in the end.
PS2: No, she doesn't know Superman doesn't have a sword.
PS3: There's a scene in "The Big Bang Theory" where Leonard does something similar with a light sabre from Star Wars, the situation was quite similar.

I invented the world of were. i.e. werewolf basically it's everthing multipied by ten if that makes sense. My favourite wereshark half man half shark. 7 foot tall, built like a brick shithouse and ripped. Also a genius. Awesome man.

Do you guys consider accounting to be nerdish? I know some people liken them to lawyers, but hey.

On a quest to finish every Star Wars book by years end, finished every Star Wars game I could get to play (didn't have game-cube, Nintendo DS and those 'lesser' platforms) on either hardest, Jedi Master or Sith Lord. Back when I was 8-12 I would spend hours each day with a 1 metre or so long curtain rail and practice the various light saber forms, got as much Star Wars Lego as I could get, would watch the movies a bazillion times over and all that stuff.

Oh, and I participated in provincial championships for, wait for it...

Wait...

Wait...

Chess

That's right, and the tournaments were for u15s and I was 13

Yip, and going into accounting, and if financially possible, following in Feicarsinn's foot-steps into the realm of physics.

For the Nerd Herd!
