He is very solid defensively as well so is a centre option as well as wing. A very committed player too, if Sale wanted a player who will give his all for the shirt, they found one. Mackenzie will do a job in the type of way Tom Shanklin used to. Run hard lines if you want, make his tackles, and can finish too and has been good for London Welsh. He was one of the few Canadians who stood up to the Samoans last November and made tackles. It seems on their fan board Sale fans aren't too pleased, but I think they will find it will be good value for money signing him. He is remembered well by Canadians for that try against Tonga ..

Losing Kieran Murphy is an odd one. The Scarlets now have no no. 8's in their squad for next season <_<

Jon Edwards is no big loss with Barclay on his way there, and Daniel Thomas as backup. I'm actually quite glad, because it gives more chance for young Daniel to get gametime.
