Guinness Pro 12: Round 8 Fixtures

Connacht were good value for that win, It's no coincidence that the one Province without a past player coaching them is top of the league and playing the best rugby. Wherefore arth thou Rob Penney. If a former player wants to coach an Irish province, they should have to earn based on there...

Champions Cup 15/16 - Rd 1 Pool 4 (Treviso, Tigers, Munster, Stade)

Good result to get the BP in horrendous conditions. CJ Stander said he is considering letting someone else be motm in a match he plays in eventually, just not anytime soon.

Champions Cup 15/16 - Rd 1 Pool 4 (Treviso, Tigers, Munster, Stade)

Interesting. This is not a vintage Munster team, and Treviso look worse than last year. What's the opposite of the group of death?

He's gone. He's actually bloody gone!

From the perspective of someone outside England, it seemed Farrell was as much as if not more of a problem than Lancaster? I would have thought Lancaster staying with entirely new coaching staff would have been a reasonable outcome

    Barbarians squad Autumn 2015

I guess Amorisino is available for Munster this weekend then? Literally have heard nothing about him since he signed.

NZ want a double header @ Chicago next November with Ireland.

2 test series in November with NZ would be fun! **** it I'm onboard!

NZ want a double header @ Chicago next November with Ireland.

We play 5 to 6 tests in Ireland every year, I reckon the IRFU wouldn't want to play one of those in Chicago for the sake of a few extra quid. Unlike the rest of the NH teams, our whole squad is contracted to the IRFU so the only issue with a test outside the window would be weaking our...

NZ want a double header @ Chicago next November with Ireland.

Couldn't really see the IRFU going for it. If NZ want a test in Chicago v Ireland they should play it in June.

    Guinness Pro 12:Round 7

Cardiff v Glasgow was a great game of rugby, Edinburgh v Munster was pretty awful. Munster have a strong lineout so kicking for touch is a good tactic, but 80 minutes of it was tough viewing. James Cronin was a huge positive. Came on with the game in the balance and won several scrum...

    Guinness Pro 12: Round 6

If Kearney is Ireland's most complete fullback, I wish he'd show this passing range he supposedly has. I'm not the kind of guy to slag off people i don't know on the Internet, he's been a great servant but I just believe we need more creativity, especially when our centres don't provide much...

    Guinness Pro 12:Round 7

Regan King would have been quite excited to go up against that centre partnership, and it would have been good experience for them to play against one of the best around. No VDM or King for the Scarlets, lucky Leinster! Connacht 15 - 9: Robbie Henshaw, Tiernan O'Halloran, Bundee Aki, Craig...

    Guinness Pro 12: Round 6

Obviously OJ wouldn't be a like for like swap for Kearney, who is a 'good runner' and offers no creativity. Utilise his passing and vision, play him as a second playmaker in the side. Zebo is really who we should pick there, probably our most complete fullback.

    Guinness Pro 12: Round 6

Here lads, I'm thrilled with my 3:19am revelation that PJ should play 15 for Ireland. Never even considered it before but would actually love to see it. Olding if he got a run of games would be great too, but I actually want to see Zeebs play there.

    Guinness Pro 12: Round 6

Didn't catch the Leinster match, was Ferg kicking because of Jonny being in the bin or is he the number one goalkicker for Leinster? I'm sure if you go through my posts on this forum you'd find me saying he should have been Leinster's goalkicker when Contepomi wasn't playing years ago...

    Guinness Pro 12: Round 6

Munster v Ulster was a strange game. Both teams were playing well and badly at the same time. The positive I am taking from it is that Tomás O'Leary is back and playing well. He might still take a bit to actually pass the ball but he is a big upgrade on our other options competing with Murray...

    A great big Munster thread

I don't remember much about Doyle from Ulster, although he seems very highly rated. Good to hear :bravo: Munster team to play Ulster tomorrow in Thomond: Munster: Andrew Conway; Simon Zebo, Francis Saili, Denis Hurley, Gerhard van den Heever; Ian Keatley, Tomás O'Leary; James Cronin, Mike...

So sad about Felix Jones. Hope he will not suffer any ill effects in his day to day life.

    The Leinster thread

Which would in turn give Madigan a chance to be first choice 10 for his province, for once. Would make sense for all parties involved.
