2014 Junior World Rugby Trophy

Some of HK players apparently impressed enough to be considered for A5N selection, coach said they need to build depth in squad while giving some young guys a shot at test level, add to it their schedule of 3 games in 14 days. HK head of technical development and performance Dai Rees especially singled out fullback Hugo Stiles for fantastic play and a strong kicking game. Other youngsters identified by Rees were all forwards; include Under-20 captain Mike Parfitt, Alexander Post, Zac Cinnamond, Mike Coverdale and Chris Maize. So while HK may not have won a game, they have been able to draw plenty of positives from the experience.
