[2024 Six Nations] Ireland v Wales - 14:15, Lansdowne Road

Is Baloucoune currently crocked? Even in Ulster form and supposedly looking at Olympics I think he's worth a punt if injury hasn't ravaged his pace. We don't have many with his straight line gas.

Tommy O'Brien is supposedly the fastest in Leinster. There's an air of the McFadden about him.

I really like King at 20s for being a bit of a livewire but hasn't really gotten that go. Maybe this Saracens game tonight will start something for him.

Balacoune's form has fallen off a cliff over the last season and a half. There's definitely something which has been going on behind the scenes as it has been the same with other young Ulster backs including Hume and Lowry (Stockdale probably slightly different).

Be interesting to see with McFarland gone and a new coaching team in whether they can rediscover some form - particularly with Murphy having worked with them all as part of U20s.

Everyone in Ireland (apart from me because I know ball): "Wtf are Leinster doing, why aren't they playing Frawley at 10, it's his best position and where he's most likely to play for Ireland".

Gatland:

I'm uneasy about this one because Frawley is back there but he's got he is factually way off here.

We're in the alternative facts age mon ami. Gatland is channeling his inner Trump. We're going to win even if we lose.

Joking aside I don't get why he's saying this kind of ****. I mean, sure, when we're good and we're about to play a close game I get it, and I don't mind it as I like theatrics, but it's cringe saying this kind of stuff when Ireland are on a different planet to us at the moment. You could play any of the Irish on here at 15 after 10 pints and I don't think it'd make any difference.

All this GDS lol.

Its worded clumsily IMO, Frwaley has started just over half of Leinsters games, and half his starters have been at 15 this season. But last season he played 15 once or twice maybe if that, and hasnt played 15 before that according to the stats.

At 26, hes a utility bit squad man for Leinster, and is on the edges of the Itish squad.

But that's not the point, Gatland doesnt talk about opposition players to give up his tactical plan, he does it to create a thought process that is conducive to assist his gameplan.

Ultimately only Gats knows, but he doesnt half get over analysed for simple thoughts lol

Pretty obvious, he's a

Welsh rugby: 3 legs, 2 balls, 3 fingers
Irish rugby: Generally normal, maybe a bit cross-eyed.

Wales to win on account of freakish mutations and an extra ball. AI has spoken.
