Carney wins!

Overturning a 25 point deficit in the polls in a matter of weeks is remarkable. Looks like Trump has cost the conservative candidate the election with all his 51st state antics and general interference.

Carney is exactly the kind of leader Canada needs right now with this trade war. He may lack charisma but is an intellectual heavyweight who understands global financial markets considerably better than the orange one. He's almost a less dour version of Gordon Brown.

Yeah Trudeau was also massively unpopular personally. Polievre also not massively popular but more the nations wanted a change but as he styled himself on Trump when people saw and the nonsense it was definitely a case of **** that ****.

Also massive tactical voting to keep them out as happened over here. This won't be a government that stays popular easially.

Very VERY clever campaign, from the timing of calling the election, and the essentially 1 issue campaign from Carney...

This is a win for Trump though, he wanted a banker in charge as opposed to a conservative and a Canada first candidate.

It's amazing to think, a money guy, with no political experience mere months ago, is now Canadas prime minister, all he's missing is an escalator ride hahaha

Trumps ability to tweet or truth? something and effect global politics is terrifying, if he wanted Carney to win, he could merely throw out a threatening message about Canada becoming a 51st state, knowing Carney was strong on that position!
 
In life if one person thinks you're a dick it might be a personality clash or similar.

When it gets to an entire gaggle of people. From a rugby pov it's probably time for some self-reflection and taking on some learnings.
