Trump now demanding an investigation into Bruce Springsteen because he dared to criticise Trump.

Anyone who still thinks Trump isn't just a dictator wannabe is deluding themselves. He's calling for Democrats who called cut his impeachment to be thrown out of Congress, law firms that represented those against him being punished, throwing out existing contracts to firms that didn't get on board with the maga agenda, threatening to suspend habeus corpus and now threatening frivolous investigations against private citizens for daring to speak out against him

From my knowledge, which is granted very limited, No fishing zones are excellent all round aren't they? Increase biodiversity, increase breeding, and spread out healthier and larger numbers to the fishing zones.

Didn't a study prove that allocated 25% no fish zones in a region would only lose like 5% of fish caught numbers (or something along those lines?

Yup but the numbers required are ridiculous something like 33% of the Ocean which essentially all coastal areas. The solution requires a complete global rethink.

The reality it is also one of the biggest things we can do to combat climate change as well.

As noted its not really anti fishing unless it's bottom trawling.

Embarrassingly for Harris she was busted by idiotic influencers while trying to recruit them, then she flew in hundreds all expenses paid to the DNC. I know everyone denied the millions of dollars rumours for Eminem, Beyonce, Lizzo and Co showings, but id still like some evidence either way.

Ultimately, why Sprigsteen feels the need to rant about Trump in Manchester, or London ill never know. I remember seeing U2 in 2009 I think it was in Giants stadium, Bono started banging on about some geopolitical issue so i and thousands other went to get beers and use the toilets. Never interested me.

But this is just another Trump is gonna Trump, say some stupid **** on Truth social, keep it relevant, keep those billions rolling in.

I'm more interested in the deals he's doing worth trillions to the US economy!

Springsteen is free to say what he wants without retribution from the federal government. The whole "freedom of speech" crowd are very silent at the prospect of the government carrying out retribution for free speech.

This isn't just Trump saying stupid ****, three acts against law firms for example and the cancelling if contracts were actual government acts...

Well Trump has mentioned investigating Harris campaign spending previously hasn't he, I don't think he's telling Springsteen to shut it or he'll be investigated, he's doing his usual **** slinging, and banging on about Taylor Swift also.

Is investigating Harris campaign spending 'illegal abuse of power'? I'm not sure of the exact legislation of that, I'm under the impression market rates have to be paid?

However you do make a good point, I am becoming numb to Trump's antics, giggling along reading the insults, and laughing at the hysterics of those who hate him. I'm sure I've made the argument before, and maybe I'm starting to be living proof of it that it just becomes a blur after a while.

Investigating when there is no evidence to suggest an investigation is needed is definitely an abuse of power and a well recognised method of intimidation, often employed by corrupt police departments. Investigations cannot be done on a whim without a prior reasonable suspicion.

What about all the reports of payments, 1.8m here, 5 mill there? The reports from online influencers stating the Secret service were harassing them about Harris endorsements, flying 200 influencers in to the DNC all expenses paid, the FEC demanding greater transparency on political ads online, only to stand down on that... and crucially, what 2 or 3 days after Biden stepped down, Priorities USA, the Dem super PAC hosted hundreds of onlineninfluencers and educated them on how to design memes and videos promoting Harris? Or, maybe it's that Republicans don't want transparency, in any form, that's usually a decent red flag.

Not particularly as Dems were outraising Republicans a fair bit across the board, never mind the presidential race. Note Trump isn't about going after supposed mega doners or some other special interest, he's about going after public figures who opposed him.

If there was genuine concern about any sort of financial wrongdoing, why is his ire not targeted at that?
