It appears that without the Isreali power in control, the slicing up of Gaza has begun very quickly...
The Doghmush clan rushed back to Gaza city to claim significant areas, Hamas returned and they have begun an armed conflict for territory.
This is the issue with a too quick retreat of forces (and no im not saying Isreali occupying Gaza is good), we have seen over and over that an occupying force has a duty to return a region to relative peace before leaving, if they dont then the usual suspects who dont care for civilian life, fight over whats left and sacrifice civilian life.
You've got to feel for the Gaza locals, they rush back home in celebration to be met by turf wars
