I just want them to look at inequality and try and solve that.I kinda wanted them to do okay create enough of a stir that Labour had to pay attention (like UKIP did to the Tories). But yeah...

I would say it's a bit different for Jews with regards to them feeling safe. Jews, understandably given their history of being killed everywhere they go, are hyper sensitive/aware to this kind of stuff. I would say anti semitism is unique in that everyone hates the Jews. From left to right, poor to rich, communist to capitalists, Muslims to Christian's etc etc so it's a little bit different than celebrities.
You could argue this fear borders to the point of paranoia but you could also argue it's logical given the history of the last 2000 years or so and how they've been ethnically cleansed and genocided from pretty much every country they've gone to.
Having said that you kind of get BS vibes from this person. I mean, calling up a radio show to say this? Possibly (I wouldn't rule it out) but I would say she's frustrated with the decision more than anything else.
I think Starmer handled it well. You could question the timing but to be honest the timing is always ****** anyway. He clearly said Hamas have no business in the future of Palestine.
Just modern politics. Disagree with the opposition regardless. Nothing more than pathetic tribal politics.I know the Tories are toast but what do they by get rigorously opposing this position? Which votes are they holding on to?
It might be low but they need to understand its the only solution that doesn't end with one of them wiped out. What is the public support for a two state solution? I was under the belief if was low 30-40% with the public in both countries. That's without Hamas and the Israel government support.
Doesn't seem in all honesty something you can force on both countries.
This is the type of mentality I don't understand.
"Forced to leave the UK.... At some point in the future.... To go to our homeland..."
Sounds a bit of an exaggeration if you think the UK is not a place for Jews because of the recognition of Palestine, yet are not leaving immediately.
**** off then, hope the door hits you on the way out.
It’s not “**** off to your own country” as most of these people don’t think they should have their own country. It’s more like “**** off out of my country and carry on being a people with no home.”Definitely "**** off back to your own country" vibes going around at the moment from the left towards Jews.

Absolutely, no one should feel threatened while living here.Definitely "**** off back to your own country" vibes going around at the moment from the left towards Jews.
Absolutely Muslims and Jews getting it from the left or right.Absolutely, no one should feel threatened while living here.
