Carter "absolutely" in doubt for rest of the world cup!!!

Where does it say he is in doubt for the rest of the cup? I don't see this 'absolutely' anywhere... You'd have to have done something very wrong to put you out of four weeks of rugby just from kicking practice.

[TEXTAREA]Dan Carter has an injury and rumours are rife that it's serious enough to raise concerns about his future at this tournament.[/TEXTAREA]

I still don't see where 'absolutely' came from :P

But yeah, I highly doubt we'll see him out for more than a game or two at most.

Looks like Carter is out of the RWC

Annoncement expected soon re carter's status.

But it looks like he is out of the tournament.

This will make it very difficult for NZ without him if he is gone.

On the other hand, it will make the Cup even more interesting!

Slade isn't a bad player at #10 but it is a huge blow, McCaw is definately going to be back for the quarters though isn't he? New Zealand will likely face Argentina in the QF's and the Pumas have a very long injury list themselves.

Would the AB's ever consider bringing in Nick Evans?

Oh ****. God, please heal him. That is all.
The video of him limping off did NOT look good.

Everyone knows how that kind of injury feels and how long it takes to heal. I guess they'll preserve him in ice for a while and hope for the best.

And I think the ABs won't allow themselves to bring in players based outside NZ, like McAllister and Evans. Mind you, remember what happened last time Carter was injured and those two guys took his place. Ouch!

First Steyn, now Carter. Sad.

Short answer - no.

Slade or Weepe will become the first choice flyhalf, with Cruden probably getting called into the squad... Maybe Donald :P

It'll be either Cruden or Donald getting the recall.

Apparently Richie McCaw contacted Peter Leitch (aka The Mad Butcher- a NZ Rugby League icon/fan/pundit) yesterday to wish the Warriors good luck in the NRL Final today, and told him that Dan Carter is out of the tournament.

Damn i mean the other big nations will be feeling like they have a better chance now but i would be gutted if he does miss out.
