Late lunge but Hamilton turned in when Verstappen was already there, and Verstappen kept the car on the track. Hamilton is lucky there. Bottas being useless again.
I think lewis should have kept first place but I don’t think it’s fair that he got to increase his lead on that turn.
Looks more ridiculous with every replay

Think that's fair think Verstappen pushed him off but Hamilton should never of reentered the track that far ahead. The stewards say they have given the advantage back which I'm unsure about.
Yeah, I thought max made an unfair challenge and expected Lewis to come back behind Perez. I was shocked to see Lewis come out 6 car lengths ahead of max.

Verstappen really needed to be ahead and pulling away right from the start on the softs. This is going to likely go to Mercedes now, short of some unforeseeable event.

Max's move was fair, hit the corner, kept within track limits, he blocked Hamilton's racing line fairly. Bogus.

Think with the lead Hamilton Is eaking out he'd never give the position back anyway and will win this by more the 5 seconds. So the penalty would be nothing in the results anyway.

Also for those saying the Merc is so dominant and it's all the car, just look at how useless Bottas has repeatedly been at the start of races and then getting stuck in traffic. Contrast that with Perez.

Only chance Verstappen has is Perez blocking Hamilton for a couple laps. Very unlikely.

In the grand scheme of things, it's looking like that corner incident would almost be irrelevant. Hamilton is going much faster on harder tyres so he can run further and then have a fresher 2nd set too. I don't think Verstappen would have been able to keep Hamilton behind anyway with this pace difference.
And that's now 5 seconds gap so even the mostly likely penalty would be irrelevant.
