Irish Summer Tests

Gilroy's really not played it much. Earls seems the logical choice, the poor sod... unless they're hoping to pick up Dave Kearney off of Leinster.

Honestly I'm not particualary bothered which one plays 15 both will be fine at fullback on attack and the Baa-baa's won't be kicking much.

Not sure if this has been mentioned on the thread yet but Felix Jones, you've gotta feel sorry for the guy. Missed out on the world cup with that ankle injury and now missing this with the shoulder op.

In fairness, he hasn't been playing that well this season at all in any case. He certainly wouldn't have been pushing Rob for the test jersey. But I get your point, the guy must have slept with God's wife or something.

no i would not :P
as it would justify him to keep the exact same team till the 2019 world cup

Suspending reality for a moment if we beat N.Z. will people be willing to forgive Kidney?

Meh, perhaps. I doubt I'll get over the opportunity he's thrown away over the last four years tbh. We should have won 3 championships in the last five years with the talent at our disposal. One just doesn't it, regardless of what happens down south in the summer. We've scored far fewer tries than we did under Eddie, our win ratio isn't as good and we had 60 points put on us by the All Blacks. We've also managed to lose at home to both Wales and Scotland, got pasted by the English and French in the Autumn and haven't enjoyed a good 6 nations since we won the thing.

While all of this has been going on Leinster, Munster and Ulster have all gotten into Heineken Cup semi finals. This year will see the 5th European Cup in 7 years go to an Irish team. 4/5 of those will have been under Kidney's reign. e clearly cannot make the most of the abundance of talent at his disposal.

Apparently Cory Jane will miss the series. So their now missing Kahui and Jane their world cup wingers. Savea (former world u20 player of the year on excellent form) is the only wing left in the squad who can they call up only the likes of Gear, Guilford and Masaga.

Edit: Bit bored so with the limited options available here's Big Ginger 8's Super 22 before two players are added to play the Baa-Baa's:

1. Court
2. Sherry
3. Fitzpatrick
4. Tuohy
5. Ryan
6. Muldoon
7. Henry
8. O'Mahony
9. Marshall
10. O'Gara
11. Zebo
12. Wallace
13. Cave
14. Gilroy
15. Earls

16. Best
17. Loughney
18. O'Callaghan
19. Ferris
20. Murray
21. Spence
22. Trimble

Decent team for this type of match exciting enough don't want Best, Ferris or Trimble geting injured before we go off.
