    Nick Mallet has named 4 new players in the Italian squad for the tests against New Zealand, South Africa and Samoa.

    Treviso players, Tommaso Benvenuti and Fabio Semenzato are joined by Parma's Francesco Minto and Gran Parma's Giovanbattista Venditti.

    Forwards: Matias Aguero, Martin Castrogiovanni, Lorenzo Cittadini, Carlo Antonio Del Fava, Paul Derbyshire, Simone Favaro, Carlo Festuccia, Quintin Geldenhuys, Leonardo Ghiraldini, Francesco Minto, Sergio Parisse, Antonio Pavanello, Salvatore Perugini, Tommaso Reato, Ignacio Rouyet, Josh Sole, Manoa Vosawai, Alessandro Zanni.

    Backs: Tommaso Benvenuti, Mirco Bergamasco, Gonzalo Canale, Gonzalo Garcia, Craig Gower, Luke McLean, Luciano Orquera, Matteo Pratichetti, Kaine Robertson, Fabio Semenzato, Michele Sepe, Alberto Sgarbi, Tito Tebaldi, Giovanbattista Venditti.

    Great news: Mauro Bergamasco returned last night to play for Stade Francais and started so he will be in the Italian team too. He was reported as being out of italy's November tests but it looks like he will be wearing 7 for Italy afterall.

    Serio Parisse is in great form at the moment.

    Sadly however, Canale is injured!
