It seems there haven't been any videos posted for 6 days. Either the boys are really busy or the game is too absorbingly good right now, lol.

Yeah, I would like to see another All Blacks video, the previous one was not clear. Maybe against Ireland.

What about some club sides? How 'bout a top NH club vs a top SH club?

Munster or Toulouse vs Bulls or Crusaders?

You guys must be loving it since we're in our 7th day of starvation, c'mon boys gimme some more visual reasons to buy it!. :)

Who can blame them. We're like pirannas this time every year!

i think they got so hooked in to game they cant remember what day it is.

as us gamers now some game start of not as good as you think and wham few days in you start seeing thing you missed and wham it a classic.

Hey thats not the attitude to take Sasnoz. The info they have supplied is better than none at all.

Granted they haven't been on in a while, but hey their internet might not be working right, they could've had an emergeny happen or any number of things.

Life is slightly more important than Rugby '08. End of the day you'll have a copy yourself in a month or less. Before you know it, you'll find it old hat.

I am thankful that they have posted anything at all.

yeah same got the buzz going for a bit... i just hope they don't run outta copies when i get it at the shops, can't be bothered pre-ordering it, i gotta save after paying of my damn infringement notice

i just find the whole situation suspect the way describe it is a bit odd seem to avoid questions about team and player info

not sure if this has been mentioned but i noticed on the videos that the ball physics seem to be different - the ball seems to float more when it is passed also the ball is thrown into the lineouts much quicker - all seems a bit more realistic.

i think being able to offload either way will make a huge difference.

looking forward to playing it.

wish they changed the commentary abit though seems exactly the same as 06

if you read in one of the reviews, you will find that you cant offload either way!!! sorry to kick that at you but no offloading either side. Just looks the same as 06 with new camera angles. simple as that. typical ea!!!! :wall:

Yup this guy is telling the truth. EA wants maximum profit for a minimal efforrt.

heard rumours the videos could be fake
but i dont think they are personally, but kinda wish they were, in saying that though these guys have contradicted themselves in describing the game and its features

Well, I can tell you that I often disagree with one of the guys who gives us info, Knowsleyroader, although I can say that the both of them ARE on the level.

I'll guarantee you that they are completely real videos (can not see how they wouldn't be). Last year they gave us real videos well before Rugby '06. So, no doubt about that.

I can understand a little frustration at the slow down in info at the moment. Theres nothing that can be done about that. As you can appreciate, these guys DONATE their time and info.

What I will say that may make you feel a litle better guys, is that last year Locksley reviewed and gave his opinions on '06. I, and a few other forum regulars (including the awesome Gay-Guy(who isn't, lol)) thought that he was a little hard on the game as his opinion didn't quite equate with the very good game we were given. So, we were pleasently surprised.

What I'm trying to say is, don't rush to make judgements just yet. Everyone has an opinion on Rugby games and most of them vary. The best I can say is that the best indication of how good a game is, is to average out all the opinions you hear.

For example, averaging out what most people on the forum thought of the following rugby games, leads me to the following estimated averages:

All ratings for it's time of release:

Jonah Lomu Rugby: 8.8/10
Rugby 2001: 6.7/10
Rugby 2004: 2.9/10
Rugby 2005: 7.0/10
Rugby '06: 7.9/10

Now many of you might disagree, but I'm trying to assess the many opinions I have heard in my time on the board.

My prediction for '08? Well, all we've got to go on are a few facts and videos. Plus the opinions we have heard from Locksley and Knowsley. I am going to guess at where I see '08 based on all the available info thus far:

Rugby '08: 8.2/10

Not a perfect game, but a slight improvement. Please note, this is not a review, just a guess. By the way, those of you who say I've scored Lomu too high must have forgotten what it was like at time of release, and for the following 3-4 years. It was (and sometimes still is) played with an unparralleled passion.

So, while we wait for more info, lets all remember that we can talk about more than just whiny BS about the info we should have. Would you come back and post a vid if you copped the kind of comments above? Lets be fair probably not.

I like a lot of you new guys, just go easy on the info guys, please.

just a quick comment here on the forum. i love my rugby and it is something i do as my semi profession. what i have noticed about the rugby series is the lack of teams. in fifa you can get at least 3 to 4 devisions in countrys like england. premiership, champoinship, league 1 league 2 and league 3. so there you go if fifa can do it so should rugby. forget budgets ea should do more.

Well maybe he does, fair enough? :P

So, what you guys think on the rating comments I put above, just curious. I never know when I post if I sound near the mark or a million miles off, lol!
