BRINK BACK KURT...

Why oh why did he have to end up in Zona and torch the Rams...

Michael Vick put up some good numbers today , Only P. Manning, A.Brooks, and D. Brees had more Yards. The Problem the Falcons lost, Dunn knocked the ball out of Vick's hands while attempting a block in the dying stages.

Vick should not care about what people think , He wins games his own even if he only throws for 178 Yards on AVG while doing so. Read his accomplishments of the past he is pretty amazing. The Ref's did seem to be against the Falcons today

Michael Vick
CP/AT YDS TD INT
21/38 306 2 0

Kurt Warner didnt do too bad either

Kurt Warner
CP/AT YDS TD INT
27/39 285 3 0

Warner just might get back into "FORM"

Vicks Comments after the 300 yard passing game " Nothing...It dont mean nothing if you loose I dont care!! I dont care about stats...Never Have Never Will."

Anyone see the Colts v Bengals game? From what I read/heard it turned into a true shootout with Manning torching the Bengals hyped up, interception machine Secondary led by Bronco's reject Deltha O'niel... 45-37 or something like that as they move on to become 10-0.

I should start watching more NFL lol, I only pay attention when the Falcons play, But Ill start watching all the games this week.

What was the Green Bay V Vickings score 2day? i really wanted to watch it but i had an exam so i couldnt. DAM! i hope green bay did they kick but!

Oh dear, that's classic!

vick was voted the most overrated QB in SI by other NFL players. Warner sucks hard. I'm not sure how much NFL you guys are able to watch in these diffrent countries. I'm curious as to why some of you like certain teams or certain players? Do you get to see them play or just hear about it? Best QB's in the NFL this year are Peyton Manning, Carson Palmer, and maybe Ben Rothleisberger when he's not hurt. I'm just curious if it's as hard for you guys to get NFL as it is for me to get anything to do with rugby in the states.

DONT EVER MENTION KURT WARNER AGAIN OR GOD WILL SMITE THEE AND THOU DOGS.

In NZ we get 2 games a week for NFL, plus 3 games of College Football, as well as Sportscentre once a day. I also just watch all the highlights on NFL.com, and if Xtra werent assholes and didnt hold a monoply of Broadband I would download all the good games.

I get to watch all the NFL I want, I get Sports Center 24/7. This Yr I havnt taken much interest in it.

Mcihael Vick has some pretty impressive Stats, SOme other QuarterBacks in the L will NEVER achieve.

Intense competitor who is blessed with rare athletic abilities not before seen at the quarterback position in the history of the NFL, possessing deft combination of blazing speed as a runner and a cannon for a left arm.

Called the "most electrifying and exciting player in the NFL" by his peers and media throughout the League.

Named to the second Pro Bowl of his career after leading the Falcons to their third division ***le in team history and breaking numerous NFL and team records in 2004.

Set an NFL playoff record for a quarterback with 119 rushing yards in the 2004 NFC Divisional Playoff Game against the Rams.

Became the first quarterback in NFL history to tally five career 100-yard rushing games by posting three in 2004.

Rushed for 902 yards with a 7.52 average per carry in 2004 to rank third in NFL annals for quarterbacks in both categories.

Became the first quarterback to ever throw for more than 250 yards and rush for over 100 yards in the same game in a performance against the Broncos (10/31/04).

Named NFC Offensive Player the Week on two separate occasions in 2004.
Became a bono fide star and MVP candidate in his first season as full-time starter at the age of 22 in 2002.

Named to the Pro Bowl in 2002 to become only the sixth quarterback to be voted to the NFL All-Star game in his first year as a starter since 1970, joining Dan Marino of Miami (1983), Brett Favre of Green Bay (1992), Kurt Warner of St. Louis (1999), Daunte Culpepper of Minnesota (2000) and Tom Brady of New England (2001).

Missed 11 games in 2003 after breaking his right fibula vs. Baltimore (8/16) in the preseason. Returned in Week 14 to guide the Falcons to a 3-1 record as a starter in the final four weeks of action.

Established several NFL records in 2002, including the most rushing yards in a game (173) by a quarterback and the most rushing yards by a quarterback in his first two seasons (1,066).

Top overall NFL draft choice in 2001 after a celebrated college career at Virginia Tech. Was the fourth Falcons #1 overall pick in club history (Tommy Nobis in 1966, Steve Bartkowski in 1975, Aundray Bruce in 1988). The Falcons traded their #1 pick (5th overall) and #3 pick in 2001, a #2 pick in 2002 and WR/KR Tim Dwight to San Diego for the rights to the #1 overall choice a day before the draft.

in other news, looks like T.O's done for the year.

PHILADELPHIA -- Terrell Owens' season is effectively over after an arbitrator ruled Wednesday that the Philadelphia Eagles were justified in suspending him for four games.

Arbitrator Richard Bloch wrote that the Eagles clearly proved that the suspension was justified, and were within their right to pay their All-Pro receiver but not allow him to return "due to the nature of his conduct and its destructive and continuing threat to the team."

"We couldn't have written it any better ourselves," an Eagles official told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio.

Bloch heard more than 13 hours of testimony last week. Owens' side argued the penalty is excessive and the Eagles' decision to deactivate him is too severe. Owens wanted to be reinstated to the Eagles or released so he can sign with another team.

"We are pleased that the arbitrator has upheld the right of a club to suspend a player for conduct detrimental to the club," said Harold Henderson, the NFL's head of labor relations.

The players union said in a statement that it was disappointed with the decision, which it believes ignores the contract's limits on team discipline. "We are confident that we put in a winning case at the hearing last Friday," the statement said, "and we still believe Terrell Owens had a right to a legitimate reinstatement."

Owens was suspended Nov. 5 after he again criticized quarterback Donovan McNabb, called the organization "classless" and fought with former teammate Hugh Douglas, who serves as team "ambassador."

Two days later, the Eagles extended the suspension to four games and told Owens not to return. The reigning conference champions are 0-3 without Owens and 4-6 overall, last in the NFC East.

Owens has five years remaining on a seven-year, $48.97 million contract that he signed when he came to Philadelphia in March 2004. His problems started when he demanded a new contract after an outstanding season in which he caught 77 passes for 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns, helping the Eagles reach the Super Bowl.

With Owens, the Eagles are 17-5 over two seasons. Without him, they're 2-5, including two meaningless losses and two playoff wins.

R.I.P - Donovon McNabbs carrer.

So's he done at the Eagles, where to next for T.O? He wont want to go to the Falcons, he seems to want a decent QB throwing too him, the Bronco's dont have enough cap apparently, the Raiders? Him and Randy - what a show that would be... on the sidelines.

He might go to the Falcons, not that I care. He lives there I suppose, although the HC (Mora) and OC (Knapp) were both his coaches at the 69ers, so he might have burnt his bridges there.

He will go to the Falcons, The Falcons and Philly were the ones in the running last time, But he has rated Vick before, and since Mcnabb rates Vick im sure if the Money is right the Falcons will get him.Its going to be BANANAZ.

Randy Moss stated there is no room for him there, He just wouldnt suit the style apperently.

Few rumours going around heres some news on T.O and what he thinks of VICK.

Shortly before winding up with the Eagles, Owens said that being paired with Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick would evoke comparisons to the Chicago Bulls' NBA championship teams.

"Vick would be the Michael Jordan and I would be the Scottie Pippen," said Owens, who has a home in Atlanta, in February 2004.

T.O talks ****...

and there still the fact the Falcons HC and OC were the DC anc OC when T.O pulled all that **** at San Fran in 2003.

Either way, no one can make Vick a good passer, unless your first name is Marcus. The thing about Football is that it is more of a team sport, no one person can dominate like the MJ's or the Wayne Gretzkys, the closet person IMO has to be Barry Sanders.

I doubt you have watched a full match of Michael playing, Every one knows Vick is miles ahead of Marcus, even Marcus himself. Michael is not a abd passer either watch him more, He struggles in the Pocket thats all, Michael is not the worst Passer in the L like you make him out to be.

Most Quarterbacks in the L need great Wide Recievers lotherwise they are just pretty Average themselves. Come back to me after watching a full Michael Vick Game and not just reading papers and watching highlights.

Even if VIck was the worse QB passer, He would still be able to Hit T.O watch if those two get together GOODNIGHT.
