[2024 Six Nations] France vs England - 16/03/24

Deliberate but penalty only.

Surprised he needed the TJ to tell him though

The irony that they've given a deliberate knock on but we all know Freeman didn't deliberately knock the ball on.

By the modern interpretation, probably. Got lucky there. I'd prefer a deliberate knock on to be an actual slap down though, rather than just a poor intercept.
Flapping one handed like that, he had minimal chance of bringing the ball in.
Neeed to commit to it more.

He didn't intend to knock the ball forward. But he did deliberately flap a hand at the ball in a way that's almost certain to knock the ball forwards.

I can't help but feel that every time England calls the mark they lose the opportunity to counterattack. Can't remember the last time it was done this often.

Brilliant

Overtaken Italy Scotland for best match of the tourney?

Yisss.

Lovely flip pass by Ford.

Followed by his conversion.
