Cardiff Blues Vs Edinburgh

Just seen the highlights. We played well, controlled the game and defended. Blues first try shouldn't have been given, and had Blues won it'd have been a total farce to be honest- how the touch judge didn't see that foot in touch is beyond me. Hell, when Johnathan Davies says a Welsh players foot is in touch, you know it must've been! Still, glad to see that we've picked up from where we left off last year.

A good start to the Magners for Edinburgh, well done. The Blues were very poor. Norton-Knight was just not in touch with the game at all. The Edinburgh blitz defence plus the poor ball he was getting from his forwards killed any confidence he might have had within the first 15 minutes. There is a lot of work for the Blues to do this week on their defensive alignment or else Munster will tear them a new one. Personally I thought Czekaj had quite a solid game, he even looked suitably embarassed when his 'try' was given. His main mistake was not jumping for the cross kick that led to Patterson's try in the second half but he was not the worst player on the pitch by any means.

Whenever a foot is anywhere near the touchline, Jiffy seems to say it's in touch.

...He's still the best comentator in all of the world, though.
