Tigers lock Louis Deacon is in contention for a place in Richard Cockerill's side after a nine-month first-team absence due to injury.
Deacon returned to action in the Guinness A League games against Gloucester and Sale.
The 28-year-old told BBC Radio Leicester: "It's good to be back and knocking on the door now.
"The rehab has gone really well, there were no after effects of either game I played in, so I'm just keeping going."
Everything is geared towards a winner-takes-all showdown between the Ospreys and Leicester in Swansea on Saturday week.
But the Ospreys require at least a losing bonus point from a trip to Perpignan this weekend, with Leicester likely to secure a five-point maximum against Treviso.
Leicester fly-half Toby Flood said the Tigers were not taking anything for granted in the Heineken Cup.
"This is going to be a massive game for us - they are a strong team and it took us 50 or 60 minutes to break them down before.
"We're not looking beyond this game. If we beat Treviso, then we'll look at the pool and see where we are but we realise it will be a tough test."
Tigers lock Ben Kay added: "Everyone will be expecting us to win easily but it will be tough.
"It's the ideal game for us on the back of the loss to Northampton.
"They are tough on the breakdown and will make it a complete battle there."
