mccaw is a f***ing cheat.

end of argument[/b]

Lol, eloquent as ever. Now we must believe you, seeing as you've proved it.

:) as you know, the Internet is serious business and the information I present to you all is always true and correct :)

what smartcooky failed to point out is that rule 19, paragraph 1, subsection A states that:

During the full 80 minutes of any rugby match, Mccaw shall be deemed a cheat.
There is no real reason for this other than the fact that it has the ability to really get on the nerves of
highly strung kiwis who sometimes take things a little too serious.

ok so the real truth is that no team out there plays by the rules 100% of the time, not the all blacks, not the wallabies... otherwise penalties wouldn't exist. sometimes teams can exploit the rules to win a match and sometimes they can't, all depends on the refs interpretation, and obviously Joubert was still wearing his Air New Zealand eye mask from the flight over from SA :P

p.s. Mccaw is still a cheat, oh and it was awesome seeing Donald prove he is a gun number 10

Mitchell vs Nonu, would have been a short lived fight had it erupted.[/b]

mitchell would have got ***** slapped, nonu's hair would have been pulled and his mascara would have been smeared all over his face.

Does Tahu have any pace left in his legs? He used to be an awesome finisher in league, surely he would be better use then Turner and Mitchell.[/b]

What a time to have Tuqiri aye! lol

Yes, I definitely saw one ruck in the first half when McCaw picked up the ball as if he were the Aus scrumhalf. Result? Penalty NZ![/b]

Yes, and whats more, if its the occasion I am thinking of, the referee was absolutely right. That's because McCaw was the tackler. The peculiarity about the tackled ball Law is that the tackler (and ONLY the tackler) does NOT have to go through the gate. He must release the player, stand up and then he is allowed to play the ball from any direction.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>

I don't think he was the tackler, but that's just my first up impression. The original point was that Joubert is not so hot in the dynamic areas of the game, so I backed it up with an example against your team - but you think in this instance the ref was spot on!

For the record, I think McCaw is class - making quick witted opposition look retarded.

There were a few wrong calls from the ref like when Adam Ashley cooper supposedly marked the ball than somehow George Smith was allowed to tap it and pass it to someone to kick it.

Overall it was a alright game I've probably watched it about 4 times but I think we were lucky to come away with the win it could of been either way.

I think the AB's wrapped it up with their counter-rucking, ball-retention and considering the conditions, field kicking. The Wallabies were lacking in all those departments, but so much so with kicking that they had to resort to attacking near their own 22, all okay if you can hold onto the ball.

Personally I thought it was a very disappointing loss , it's one of the ones where you remember it in the morning and you're all of the sudden put out of your good mood. Though, to take something out of this game, did anyone else think the Wallabies are starting to pull off this new defensive pattern? I feel if the Wallabies of last year had faced a determined AB's second half onslaught they would have leaked some tries.

Edit: Also Burgess had a shocker, but he wasn't the only one. Genia should be given more game time but don't write off Burgess just yet, his previous performances this year have been very good.

The first 25 mins was so boring I turned it off & by the sounds of it I missed the best part which was Donald kicking crucial penalty goals.... Lmao
Insane I would wait a bit before I call Donald a gun, he no doubt has the ability, but I don't think Donald and consistency have met each other yet.

LOL Some how my man McCaw always gets dragged into it, I think he should hold a clinic for all the opposite no. 7s on how to have no regard for your body. If the opposition had half a brain they would beat the crap out him everytime he tries to spoil there ball & then he might eventually break (everyone has a breaking point, even McCaw). McCaw is the best scavenger this game has ever seen, his lack of respect for his body and his hawk like instincts at every breakdown is what separates him from the pack. We've seen some good ball hawks come out in the last ten years but eventually fade out because they become hesitant after getting smashed to many times. The day McCaw starts worrying about his wellbeing will be the day he loses his crown.

Donald is just as good a rugby player as Dan Carter, but he like women instead of men :P

just stirring up some fun :)

his lack of respect for his body[/b]

That's obviously why he wears headgear to protect his head, cause he doesn't respect his body......
Schalk Burger doesn't respect his body, McCaw does.

Do what McCaw does in a game and come back and tell me wether he has respect for his body. I don't see a great deal of Schalk but he doesn't always leave himself open to get smashed when trying to steal the ball & o.k. he probably just cares about his pretty face, I'll give you that.

I can't just go out and do what McCaw does, he's a finely tuned athletic machine like most professional players, I play Number 7 on occasions, and my team is **** so I usually have no support and get smashed for 80 mins while trying to steal the ball and turn it over, Schalk didn't get nickname wreckingball without a chain for no reason.....

I'd rather be George Smith, Palu or Phil Waugh (modelling career and all) than Schalk.

Come on give me a break, anyone can run the ball into a line of defence or go and make a hit on a bigger guy, but leaving yourself vunerable to get smashed. now thats just plain crazy. I will even admit that when I played a bit of 7 the first time I got smashed and cleaned off the ball the next time I went in I was having a second look. Don't get me wrong I like Burger's game as well, but even he asses the situation before going in for the steal and thats the difference.
