We are approaching the end off the season, so i thought it could be a good time to discuss what you think will be your XV for this years tournament i would go for something like this

1.) Cian Healy
2.) Rory Best
3.) Samson Lee
4.) Paul O'Connoll
5.) Alun Wyn Jones
6.) CJ Stander
7.) Sean O'Brian
8.) Josh Strauss
9.) Rhys Webb
10.) Dan Biggar
11.) Tommy Seymour
12.) Robbie Henshaw
13.) Mark Bennett
14.) Craig Gilroy
15.) Rob Kearney

Oh yeah, who could forget all of Cian Healy's sterling displays in the league this year?

Is it a best XV in the league or best players over the league season?

Assuming the latter:

1. Dennis Buckley
2. Duncan Casey
3. Wiehahn Herbst
4. Adam Wyn Jones
5. Franco Van der Merwe
6. Rob Harley
7. Chris Fusaro
8. CJ Stander

9. Rhys Webb
10. Finn Russell
11. Craig Gilroy
12. Peter Horne
13. Scott Williams
14. Tommy Seymour
15. Liam Williams [****, but still a very good footballer]

I'm sure others will disagree with more than a few there, and to be honest I'd probably change my mind on a few after some reflection...

edit1: After about 2 mins reflection... Robbie Henshaw for Peter Horne or Scott Williams. Probably Scott Williams.

This XV is suppose to be the best performer this year, so yeah, players over the league this season. Sorry for not making that clear.

to be honest i think you should swap Henshaw for Peter Horne, Horne only had a couple of good games this year but the rest he hasn't been that good. Don't know about Scott Williams season though.

Surely you'd have James Davies at 7, had an awesome season, gutted for him that Tips and Warby seem to pretty much be the only 7s Gatland will take to the WC, because club form wise Cubby has certainly been better than Warburton.

Guys who deserve it for Munster.
Stander easily. Had plenty of MOTM performances early and has been consistent.
Tommy O'D has been superb.
Casey in the league has been superb. But well can't say was he best 2 in league.
Earls has been electric since his return but is 5/6 games enough.

That's all for us really in league form.

Maybe Paul O'Connell ? or Conor Murray ?

Don't feel like you could say at this juncture - a lot of sides have 3-4 (potentially) massive games left, make-or-break games, and rating people before seeing how they get on them is a bit premature.

this is what the Pro 12 decided for they're dream team for the 2014/2015 season, I can'r really argue with it to be honest

Hard to disagree with many of these, apart from Scotty's original one, most of Leinster and Munster players didn't play enough league rugby to warrant selection.

Sure fer fock sake, they copied my team then changed one or two names just to avoid being blatantly obvious about it.

(They've got Best, O'Donnell and Nel blatantly wrong - I'll let them off with Dan Biggar and Josh Strauss, although I don't like them shoving Stander to 6 as he plays mostly at 8.)

Not too sure on this but have heard Standers record for MOTM in the league (7) is a record for most in a regular season. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
