Downward pressure on the ball in the in goal area - all it needs to be.
He dropped the ball backwards, kneed it forwards (only a knockon if it's hand/arm) and then flopped down on it so it was a try.

It was a great finish.
It was off the shin. Technically a kick after having gone backwards off his hands. Downward pressure and control from the chest. Job done.

Good point. In the long run, there's no way Harlequins will be able to keep Evans, Botica and Clegg all happy with gametime and without spending too much in one position. All three are out of contract this summer, but Botica and Evans have both been offered three year extensions. I'm not sure if Botica is happy to play second-choice to Evans, or Evans is happy to be tied for three years when Botica could easily overtake him in that time, so there's a decent chance one of them will decide not to renew. The Saints would do well to bring in either of them, with some of the money coming from Myler being out of contract (possibly Lamb too, but can't find anything on how long he's contracted). If both sign extensions, Rory Clegg has to move if he actually cares about playing top-level rugby and has any England ambitions. He would require more nurturing, and Saints may need another penalty kicker on the field.
Saints need to invest in another fullback too. Isn't there someone on fire in the Championship that could be brought in for cheap?

On Botica/Clegg/Evans - if Evans re-signs at the end of the season I think they'll release Clegg (who will probably go to Saints considering their track record of 10s
).If he doesn't re-sign then Botica will be first choice with Clegg making the odd appearance, as he did under Evans.

Clegg should be got rid of whatever the weather, he hasn't come on enough. Quins need a better player than him in their squad, Clegg needs to find more regular action to rediscover his potential. I'd also want to see Botica in some big games before I decided whether he was good enough for the first choice shirt.
12 months ago Clegg was considered the best thing since spiced bread. Shows what a bit of media hype can do
