Where the hell is David Watkins the greatest player ever to grace a rugby field
Bar none

Played for Newport
Wales
Lions (captain)

Serge Blanco
Phillipe Sella
Patrice lagisquet
Jean Pierre Rive
Abdel Benazzi
Laurent Cabannes

Rob andrew
Jeremy guscott
Rory Underwood
Simon Geoghan (not sure it is spelled this way)
Gavin Hastings
Scott Hasting
John Jeffrey

Some of the star players i grew up watching on saturdays.............

Yup that's the correct spelling bob,

Simon Geoghan was a legend, his tries against england and the wallabies in the early 90's inspired both myself and perhaps my whole generation to play rugby. From all accounts his application and desire were well ahead of his fellow ameteur players at that time. He would fit right in with the ultimate pro's like O'Connell, BOD and Murphy if he were playing for ireland today. He's one of my fav players of all time.

Have to create.....

Lomu
David Duckham
Nick Beal
Pat Lam
The Underwoods
Dean Richards
Martin Bayfield
Serge Blanco
David Campase (just to watch him get nailed
<
)

First, Cabbage, how can you have Jonathan Davies over Barry John, or even Phil Bennett? Even Cliff Morgan? I doubt you're Welsh . . .
<

Classic players I'd probably create:

South Africans
Hennie "The Greyhound" Muller
Uli Schmidt
Danie Gerber

Kiwis
Michael Jones
John Kirwan
Zinzan Brooke

Welshys
J.P.R. Williams
Barry John

Frogs
Jean Pierre Rives

Ozzers
David Campese

Oirish
Keith Wood

Just some of my favourites I'll be including...........

Irish: Mike Gibson (best Irish back - EVER), Willie John McBride.

English: David Duckham, Will Carling (so I can SMASH him!!).

Scots: Gavin Hastings, Andy Irvine.

Welsh: Gareth Edwards, Phil Bennet, JPR Williams, JJ Williams, Barry John.

French: Serge Blanco, Phillipe Sella.

Argentinian: Hugo Porta.

South African: Naas Botha, Francois Pienaar (so I can smash him too
<
).

Australian: David Campese, The Ella brothers, Nick Farr-Jones, Michael Lynagh, Phil Kearns, John Eales, Peter Fitzsimmons (for comic relief)

Islanders: Peter "Fats", Frank Bunce (in his Samoan days...)

New Zealanders: Jeff Wilson, Craig Green, (smoking) Joe Stanley, Walter little, Jonah Lomu, Grant Fox, Dave Loveridge, Wayne (Buck) Shelford, Josh Kronfield, Troy Flavell, Colin Meads, Andy Haden, Keith Murdock, Sean Fitzpatrick, Olo Brown.

I shoulda said, 'Welcome to the Forum' first. So, Welcome to the Forum.

Second, as I type this, I'm making all sorts of weird noises, trying in vain to contemplate how you can state that Jonathan Davies had a better allround game than the likes of the aforementioned greats.

But, I'll let it go.

.........only if you define as "all round" the inability to defend at all...........
<

His footwork and skill was as good as benny but J.D was much quicker
He could get the line moving as good as barry
His kicking was better than both out of hand and for goal
He done this with not having the privilege of playing with a good pack

P.S No way would i put that towny Dai Watkins in my welsh side and thanks for welcoming me to the board cheers

first i'd create:

big jonah (even tho he couldnt kick/defend, you'd have to say he was the best running powerhouse ever! and DESTROYER OF DEFENSES!)
michael jones
willie O (DEFENSE...cha....cha..cha!)
ella brothers(flair)
nick-far jones
andrew johns (regarded as the best rugby player....we'll see)
roary underwood
gavin hastings
jeremy guscott
keith wood (if he's not in the game)
frank bunce
grant fox (mainly for kicking)
smokin' joe stanley (gun player)

Kei 'Iongi... this dude is O.G.
they say he invented the side step, ppl just use to swerve until he came along. He was part of that famous Tongan team that beat Australia 16 - 11 i think in the 70's

Im sorry to tell you but nowbody ever had as good acceleration as david watkins.
Also he was much quicker than jd.

also you shouldn't slag him off if youve never seen him play
