[June Tests 2018: 1st Test] New Zealand vs. France (09/06/2018)

That's the sort of thing I would like to see the video ref add his thoughts on
Not sure if it's in international rugby yet but in the premiership they have a doctor pitchside who has the same technology/camera angles as the tmo who can check collisions/see if anyone looks concussed and then tells the 4th official to get them off for a HIA

Fikou? What are you doing? Pretty blatant forward pass.

Excellent approach. I noticed Sam Cane went off after a few minutes; maybe that's what happened this time?

France just can't chase a game.
As soon as they hit adversity everything goes out the window and they just collapse

This France team are pretty clueless. God help England next year if they don't beat them at the RWC.

NZ are undoubtedly the best frontrunners in the world and obviously the better side, they were handed the position to be frontrunners by Pearse here though.

He's not even the best kicker in the ABs!!!

Jordie wasn't much better with his long range kicks. Mo'unga or Dmac?
Still BB is the main Kicker now until RWC. For ABs sake they better win by large margins where kicks aren't important otherwise it'll cost them in the tight games (SA semi 2015 prime example).

What a shame. Couple of bad calls ruined what until then was a quite entertaining exchange.

French fitness is awful though. A clear by product of the Top 14.

It's his one weakness, but he's usually worth a try or two so it evens out, those attacking grubbers and cross field kicks are lethal.

And in the really tight games like v the BIL last year? It didn't even out enough to win the series and the missed kicks really cost the ABs the series. As good as BB is you can't get away that as a top class kicker he is lacking and RWCs are won by the finest margins. There'll be at least one game at the back end of the tournament when it'll be decided by a penalty, conversion or drop goal.
