It always seems that when NZ are struggling, and around the 50th minute, there is always a referee decision which is beneficial to them and is contentious.

Why is that Cane tackle not a yellow?

well this is standard France these days. Every game in the 6 nations they ran out of steam. Add in another 3 months of Top14 rugby, a 24 hour flight, and some brutal jet lag and this is what'll happen.
