Basically Sale's problems from last year overrunning into this year too.

Good start from Newcastle, but lets see them defeat a team with a bigger pack.

  4. Did not see Newcastle winning this one but well done to them.

One thing that really annoyed me about sale's preseasons signings, we lose Tinterall who was a good hooker but not international standard so always our back up last seasons for Bruno. this season we sign a Scott Lawson who is international standard. We haven't replaced like for like. In so many positions we have brought in players that will just get international call ups. Not a bad thing for half a season but for the other half won't help us at all.

Tbh, If Chris Jones hadn't have been Sin Binned in the 50th minute when we were in the lead I think, we could have possibly got this one as from the start of the second half sale were really maintaining some strong pressure. Newcastle put 14 point on Sale during his sin bin and that really lost us the match.
