RaboDirect Pro 12 Semi Finals: Ospreys vs Munster - 11/05/2012

Mostly a result of Declan Kidney's neglection of the youth system.

Now the Munster squad is wafer thin as a result.

Good to see the Ospreys finally threaten to deliver what everyone thought they could. :) Bodes well for a better run in the HEC next year.

Putting my money on Williams to score a last second try and make it 50!

Ian Jones has played well today I hear.
I think he is better than Ryan O'Connell.

Nobody saw that result coming. Ospreys played very well will fancy their chances against either Leinster or Glasgae

Crikey, that was pathetic. No doubt our Munster fans will have more to say on that, but that was abject.

A good point made on RTÉ, how many of this Munster team would make the 2007 team? Botha and Earls probably, hard to see who outside of them.

Dear Munster,
Please next season play the weak team against us instead;)

Regards, The Scarlets.

I don't think we can expect anything from cyRil tonight (or at least anything coherent).

Wasn't aware that would be any different

I suppose I mean worse than usual.
Drunk podcast Feic, you know it would be a success.

One of the best Ospreys performances ever (probably the Magners final v Leinster a couple of years ago being the other standout). The Ospreys pack were immense, Hibbard, Ryan Jones and Alun-Wyn Jones smashed everything that moved, and Tipuric was head and shoulders above everyone else at the breakdown. The backs simply finished most of the chances they had (although they should have scored another couple of try's at least).

Standout players for me were James, Hibbard, Alun-Wyn, Ryan Jones, Tipuric, Biggar, Beck, Dirksen and Fussell. I know Beck made a few errors, but I still thought he looked like a class act. Hopefully he won't be caught ball watching in defence again. Biggar really does look like a player transformed, his kicking from the tee was immense as per usual. On today's performance Fussell could make the Wales squad (I'd take him as a winger though), because he took full advantage of his opportunities.

Doesn't look like the Ospreys are missing Collins, Hollah, Phillips or Hook in the slightest. It's just allowed for better, younger players to come in and take their place. Long may it continue.

Brilliant. Just brilliant. I have no more to say. Other than that game is never going to be deleted from my Sky+ box. Superb.

Well done O's.
Ye were far better team and well best of luck in the final.

As for us not too disheartened as it was a nice trip to Swansea and we are still in transition but people will say I'm mad when I say this but I truly believe Mr. Penney will really freshen things up, a few tweaks, proper backs coach and 2/3 more additions with better luck on injury front and we can be a serious challenger next year in both competitions.

You're right.......

You are mad!

On a serious not Munster simply lack quality players in key positions, when you look at Leinster you see a squad of consistently brilliant players that fit together in a great team, but Munster lack this dynamism the problem is I don't exactly know why....

Absolutely ****ing annihilating Munster is one of the best feelings in sport.

When the Leinster players play for Ireland they're not half as good. Why do you think that it? **** coaching. The Munster players are in the same position. McGahan has got them playing headless chicken rugby.

At least next season we've a proper head coach coming in for the first time in years.
