Pity we won't see Curry x 2 here but looking forward to Robshaw and Underhill

Looking forward to this game.

I prefer seeing more uncapped players in the England team V Barbarians than the usual stacked team.

Should hopefully be a good game.

This excites me.

Earle, Genge, Ewels, Isiekwe, Underhill, JFR, Spencer and Curry are who I'm looking out for in particular.

Loz too (although it's mainly because I want the pressure to pile up for a change at FB).

Not too fussed about Spencer TBH, just due to hope many locks we have and Isiekwe is clearly ahead of him.

Would be nice if JFR improves his scrummaging but lookingat Saints current TH forms i'm a bit worried he might follow them. (Hopefully won't be the case and it will be more like when Hill first arrived).

Want Haley to get a good 25 mins at 15.

Can Haley play anywhere other than FB or when he comes on is it guaranteed to be at FB?

Same here. Spencer is decent enough, but I wonder whether he would have got the call had Symons or Barrow been available?

Ford-Robinson is an interesting one. I guess he's similar-ish to Sinckler which is something different to Hill and Brookes. I'd still have him as 5th or 6th choice for England, but apparently he's made a good impression in camp.

Massive opportunity for Underhill today. If he performs well against Dusautoir and Armitage then the hype train will really start rolling.

He's got some experience at wing and outside centre but that was a long time ago, and only minimal pro experience there. I'd be very very surprised if he didn't come on at 15

I don't think Spencer has much of any chance as an England regular, I just like watching him play - a bit of a brute. And I'm happy for the guy - Bath released him because he was constantly injured, not because he wasn't any good.

I think Isiekwe has the potential to force his way in - if he can bring his lineout ability to bear.

JFR has a long way to go, but he's got a good base to build from.

Ideal, the less time Brown spends keeping a young player with potential off the pitch the better

Has anyone seen much of Nathan Earle lately?

Earle sort of disappeared after generating hype in the England under 20s. Wiki says he's spent time playing a handful of games for Bedford and London Scottish which doesn't exactly scream progress.

Eh?

He snapped his achilled straight after the u20's, and was sent off to Canterbury to play in the ITM, where he played pretty damn well.
He's since struggled to get gametime with Sarries, because, well... Sarries.

He's a damn good athlete and rugby player.

Ta, didn't know that.

Hopefully he's getting a regular place next season now that Ashton's gone to France. England players not getting Premiership matches doesn't quite feel right.

Mike Brown going well, two try saving tackles and a kick into space.
