Agreed - and it's a slap in the face to any Fijian wings/fullbacks who have wanted to play for them for their entire lives, to have someone who doesn't give a damn just walk in to the team (even if he is incredibly talented etc.etc.)

I think if they begged him to come back, it would be because they were desperate for him to play 10. Which is actually pretty likely come to think of it

There are very few Australian players out there thats why.. Ireland has almost double the amount of registered players IIRC

Think that could give the Ireland team a spot of bother, although would probably lose.

Mindyou, a team of the best NEQs playing in England would probably beat England.

edit: Olyy beat me to it. Although team needs more Jacques Burger and less Andy Powell. And I'd rather have Luke Watson than Waldrom anyway.

Good list pity some of those boys have retired e.g. Danny Lee, some are still playing in the Super15 despite playing for Australian / SA Super sides and Waldrom is set to become English

True, there are possibly a few on the list that have retired - didn't have time to go through the whole list and check which players had retired....

Well I'd still count Flutey and Hape as Kiwi players abroad. And like I said profuse apologies to darwin_23, I'm not from New Zealand so I thought I'd do the best I could with the stand out players I could think of. I've heard of (at a push) 20% of those players.

No worries mate... I've just had this list sitting on my computer for while, and have been waiting for an opportunity to use it! Apart from a couple of players, the list comprised entirely of ex-Super Rugby players. It's probably not surprising you haven't heard of most of them - I certainly wouldn't know more than 20% of players in the Aviva premiership!
