NBA postpones pre-season training and games over 'lockout'

The NBA has postponed training camps and cancelled 43 pre-season games following the failure to reach a new collective bargaining agreement.

One of the things about American sports I hope we don't adopt - the possibility of losing any games.

Even if the season starts late, some teams will be missing players due to their contracts overseas. Many of the bigger names have signed contracts where they can be released without any issues should the lockout end, but others have signed full contracts and would have to pay to be released.

Hope they don't cancel the whole season that would be ludacris. It's unbelievable that they haven't come to some solution yet but I really hope they sort it soon because if they don't there will be a whole lot of unhappy people
