NFL Playoffs

Wouldnt be too sure about Seattle AK, Despite the fact weve let Shaun Alexander run amok the last 2 ecounters, both times weve managed to outgun them on offence with our passing game

Right now ESPN are laughing at the Broncos. No worries, I think we can put up a decent game.
Silence.

Tumbleweeds.

Bad loss for the Broncs.

So who are playing next week... The Falcons or the Eagles? Either way I reckon we have a good chance of moving on to the conference

LAHLAHLAH I CAN'T HEAR YOU I CAN'T HEAR YOU!

Plummer had a shakey 1st quarter but had an awesome 2nd half, wish it'd been like that all the way through. I think that overturned catch might have just killed us in the first half. I think it seemed like it was a catch...but it's done now. I just hope Roc Alexander doesn't have a mental breakdown...the poor guy's only a rookie and that might hurt him. He's got great potential but it was tough to make him cover Wayne.

But there were some good signs from that game, Jeb Putzier looks very good, he had a great game in the second half. Oh well, I'm hoping DJ Williams will be able to carry on his good form and improve his coverage for next season. If we can sort out the D-Line and keep our veteran CBs healthy we'll be a better team next season. Hopefully we'll get a bit more consistency.

Jesus, Muse, I wish more Americans were pragmatic about their respective teams defeat. Heck, I'm a Rams supporter, and they've done well to make it to the playoffs, but if/when they get knocked out, I'll be calling for Martz head just like everyone in St. Louis. The good points of the season be damned.

Why wait, i've already got a long pole ready to put his head on... and a gift basket full of fruit to try to woo Kurt Warner back

whats tanoisamoa and brandon manumaleina like are they good??(rams fans)

with Brandon Manumaleuna its hard to tell, he's only taken 15 catches all season, less than one a game, although to be fair he has to compete with Holt and Bruce as well as the best receiving Halfback in the NFL, Marshall Faulk

Well its good to know that all is right with the world and Mike Vick is still a sorry excuse for a Quaterback...

I still cant see McNabb & Friends, even with a fit (but rusty) T.O getting past the f***ing Patriots unfournatly

ahhh the Patriots thrashed the steelers :-D

looks like its Eagles vs Patriots baby

my Pats will pull through
<

Belichick is a damn wizard. He's a mad scientist.

I can only hope the Eagles play out of their skulls and shut them down.

As evidenced by Canadian_Rugger, to support the Patriots is un-American.

Hey Capn I have been a diehard Pat fan my whole life
<

But The pats were too much for the eagles and as I predicted it was close but the pats pulled through

I watched the superbowl and I found it quite boring. I know that the NFL is made of very short impulsive actions and that's Ok for me, that's part of that game but why so long interruptions?

There was in average a 2 or 3 minutes interruption after each play. This game would be much more attractive if there was more continuity.

I know what you mean... While I am slowly begining to appreciate the tacticle aspect of the game, it's just so over commercialised and so lacking fluidity that it's hard to sit down and watch a whole match...
As for it being more attractive if there was more continuity, well I agree, but the yanks seem to like it this way and considering the game is played around the commercials I don't see it happening.

I said the same thing about England in the RWC (there were actually shirts saying "supporting England is UN-AUSTRALIAN at novelty **** take stores)

did anyone see that england rugby advertisment on the superbowl, i think it was for a credit card or something , i thought the was awsome to see rugby in the USA like that, i hope this is a sign that it is growing big here,

the superbowl is the most over commercialized sporting event ever. A regular NFL game is not like that and you would probably appreciate it more than this. Football is indeed a game of tactics though. Players are just soldiers on the field and the coaches are the ones that really win the games.

To be honest, thats what I don't like about it... It's TOO over-specialised, theres a different player for ever single action (I hate the way they have 2 different teams for defence and attack) and the fact that the coaches are responsible for almost every movement made on the feild doesn't allow for much creativity from the players... eg: some of the 8 tries that were scored against GB in the RL TN final came from absolutely nothing! Just pure spur of the moment genius on behalf of some brilliant players... that sort of thing isn't something that can happen often in the NFL with the amount of stoppage and control exerted over every aspect of the game.

they're different sports, plain and simple, toplay rugby or football requires skills. BUT f***IN BRADY AND HIS f***IN PATRIOTS WON!!!! f***!!!!
