For talking rot.

Breakfast American Blueberry pancakes.
Tonight - English style with Nutella, Ice cream and Maple syrup.

Followed by crying myself to sleep over the amount I have eaten.

Talking Tooth Rot:

What with having a French wife; we had to do saviury crepes for dinner :(
So it was basically Tacos, just with crepes instead of... taco shells. It's weird; just weird.

Still, I was allowed a couple with honey and lemon "for desert"

What's a saviury crepe? Sounds fancy!

Always used to have savoury pancakes (just with cheddar) when I was a kid, before lemon and sugar, golden syrup or jam.

I eat american pancakes for breakfast most weekends.

Either sardines in oil with onion slices marinated in lemon juice and a bit of bread, or cornflakes and milk, or two fried eggs and some toast. Depends on my mood when I get up.

Yeah nah, no pancakes for me.

The Poles have a pancake day it was last week they call it Fat day and tend to eat more doughnuts and cakes now instead of Pancakes.

Americans seem to call it fat day too, wonder whether they picked it up from there...?

The whole thing is just an excuse to use up whats left in the pantry after winter and its got many names but I think the its meant to be a final binge before the Christian Lent.

They have Mardi Gras in France which is "fat Tuesday", think it's called Carnivale in places too, not a big deal from what I could tell yesterday though.

How have I never made the association between Mardis Gras and Fat Tuesday?
That's hilarious
