Bath a side that loves to give the ball away and is terrible at turning it over Vs a side that loves to retain possession. I bet we won't get more than 1/4 possession this game...

Chiefs now have lost 2 more players, still a strong squad but JHill and SSimmonds are a big loss to the pack with Skinner already out.

Still think Chiefs will win but not as one sided at the Rec.

Bath 1 - 5 Chiefs
Saints 0 - 4 Tigers
Sale 0 - 4 Falcons
Wasps 2 - 5 Gloucester
Quins 0 - 5 Sarries
Worcester 0 - 5 Bristol

Fiance is away all weekend so chilled one watching all 4 games on BT sport

Bath 1-4 Exeter
Northampton 1-4 Leicester
Sale 1-4 Newcastle
Wasps 5-0 Gloucester
Harlequins 1-4 Saracens - will be closer than a lot of people think. Quins have a history of beating Sarries at the Stoop.
Worcester 5-1 Bristol

Chiefs squad to play Bath,

a hat-trick of tries for the Braves last weekend against Bristol Bears - is also included.

15 Phil Dollman
14 Jack Nowell
13 Henry Slade
12 Ollie Devoto
11 Santiago Cordero
10 Gareth Steenson (capt)
9 Stuart Townsend

1 Ben Moon
2 Luke Cowan-Dickie
3 Harry Williams
4 Dave Dennis
5 Sam Skinner
6 Dave Ewers
7 Don Armand
8 Matt Kvesic

16 Jack Yeandle
17 Alec Hepburn
18 Tomas Francis
19 Ollie Atkins
20 Tom Lawday
21 Jack Maunder
22 Joe Simmonds
23 Ian Whitten

Not sure about Kvesic at No. 8 though but tbh im happy with the team, happy skinner is back and that Lawday is getting his chance in SSimmonds absance. Think Bath will push us hard but im confident we will win.

Ewers Armand kvesic
Vs
Mercer Ellis Falatau

This could be a good battle, with 2 very different back rows

Kvesic at 8 when you've got Armand and Ewers in the side is bizarre, though I doubt the number on the shirt matters at any point other than scrum time

He must have proved to Baxter that he is strong enough off the base of the scrum to hold is own although, armand is a natural 6, ewers is a monster and fits 8 and kvesic is a natural 7.

Baxter....has a good track record and likes to play players out of position.....Baxter for England ;)

Is this Gareth Evans first game back? Was he out with long term injury?

"You can see it in his voice"

A bastion of eloquence as always Dellaglio
He also said that the biggest thing Ex will miss with Simmonds injured is his experience... That highly experienced player in his second season...

Bath really have no idea how to deal with a team that rush up near the breakdown as they rely far too much on 1 out passing to a guy who is only looking for contact.

Trying just a little too hard to get around the corner

Dunn will watch that on loop for the rest of his life

He'll be 60yrs old down the pub showing anyone who will listen to him the clip on his phone

It's the age old debate, he tries to hit it up, but never really had a chance of regathering. He also stopped a line break. The biggest issue is if you say say anyone hitting up can't get a card, then more players will try to hit it up without any real attempt to regather, without worrying about the risk of a card.

Edit: Personally that was just a penalty for me, but I also can see how the ref has got to a yellow card and it's a case of giving the ref the opportunity to card you. You only have yourself to blame if you know they can interpret it that way.
