[RWC2023] Italy vs Uruguay (20/09/2023)

If I wasn't rooting for Uruguay I would be mildly horrified at Italy. They just have no heart or impetus since Crowley learnt he was being binned.

Etcheverry clearly a super kicker and what idiot said he should be subbed after 20 mins?
Eh
Agree eh
But, every WC you arrive with a sacked coach? Do you do it on purpose?

It seems teams are now going for it instead of resigning themselves to getting beat by the established nations. Maybe it's because they now too play high quality rugby year roundabout this is just a great thing.

Uruguay's poor discipline is what gave Italy the early advantage. Since they've calmed down it's been their game.

Maybe one day USA and Canada will realize they are part of the Americas and git good at rugby.

Think Bruschetta and Canneloni have been quite poor. They're really missing Limoncello

Would love to see Canada be competitive.

In another thread someone mentioned since the professional era Canada and Romania are the two nations that have declined the most.

No way that is red, lack of force (much of the force came from the Italian head).

If Uruguay can concede 3 or less during this 10 mins they have every chance. Ugh.

Trouble with these yellows/red is that what stops the attacking playing purposely putting their head into the shoulder of an opposing player.
