Interesting. The All Blacks will have an edge in the first games as they'll take place in NZ. The situation is somewhat similar to this year's 3N where SA had the chance to host 3 consecutive games at home.

Anyway, this "edge" is slightly irrelevant, it all comes down to form. If the Boks maintain their current performance, and the ABs find their souls again (and if Henry refrains from making the wrong decisions), it'll be a good tournament.

Just hope that that 3 week break for the Springboks won't count against them, playing New Zealand after almost a month's rest could be tricky, but then again the All Blacks don't have a good record at Coca-Cola Park so there might be nothing for us to worry about...

2011 is RWC year and 2012 the Pumas join the competition, so if all goes well, this will be the LAST time that the 3N involves each team playing each other three times, and I for one will not be sorry to see the end of the overkill.

Whoever the brain-dead idiot was who dreamed it up in the first place ought to have been shot.

Actually if they cut down on the TriNations to a home and away Quad Nations, they could still have their S15 shambles and leave room for the ANZC to remain in some format for 14 teams.

Good draw for New Zealand this time round :bravo: Now if only we can knocked over those pesky South Africas. ;)

Is the 3N format reduced to home and away matches only in RWC years?
