As a Welsh fan couldn't have gone better. Aus were bad but we definitely contributed to getting them to collapse. Can't quite believe the scoreline, we never make it easy against the the traditional top 3 of the SH!

The set piece were as good as I can remember see it too. Got to enjoy it!

I'm going to defend Eddie a bit here. He's been put in to coach Australia with little time and they're in a must worst state than England going into this world cup. Regardless if Australia get rid of him or he goes, they're in trouble and will be for a while. The game is basically finished there.

I don't think there's much defence for Eddie other than the short timeframe. He needed to keep a spine of experience to the team. Looking at Wales for example they still have the experienced guys there such as Biggar, Williams, Falateu, North etc.

Gatland has been with Wales for 1 month longer than Jones with Australia, and Wales were every bit as dogshit as Australia. No defence. Jones also managed to utterly destroy England in the preceding years too.

I disagree. He played a large part in England's deterioration over the past few years and the strange squad picks in Australia's squad were his choice.

Pinch me did we just have a comfortable win against Australia, seriously in shock. I expected us to capitulate after 60 mins but I was so impressed on how we controlled and managed the game taking the 3 points having a solid set piece . I know this isn't a great Aussie side but they have some talented players on that field , very impressed with anscombe seriously if that's his standard he takes the shirt ahead of biggar.

I'm not going to say Eddie got it right, but he did it what he thought with the time he had. The fallout might actually get Australia looking closer at their game from this. Hopefully, things will get better for them.

I'd say 99.9% of other International coaches don't select one specialist 10 (and a green one at that) and drop a 100+ cap captain.

Aus did get a bit unlucky with injuries. Alalatoa in the RC, then Skelton and Tupou. They had nothing tonight.

Davies was incredible reads the game better than any of our scrum halfs , always runs the right support lines in the inside , got the try made a great read in the interception and boxes kicked flawlessly
