17th ranked Romania will look to build on their historic and last minute win vs. Tonga (18-17) against 15th ranked Canada. Canada meanwhile will hope to rebound after a dissapointing and controversial test vs. Georgia where they went down to defeat 19-15. It has been far too long since these two sides have met and I for one am very looking forward to it.

Tyler Ardron had recently tweeted: "Glad the IRB saw it the same way. Looking forward to the game this weekend vs Romania." So it sounds like he'll be available for the match. However, still unsure about the statuses of Liam Underwood, Ray Barkwill and others (James Pritchard + Ciaran Hearn). Here is my projected Canada match day 23...assuming everyone is healthy.

Pretty standard line-up. Would love to see the boys get the ball out wide to Mackenzie and Hassler. Obviously Romania's strength will be in the pack so it would be nice to see the danger men go for a run. Should be a good game, best of luck to both teams.

Disagree here. Blevins is average and Jones is the better distributor who I think with patience could become a good midfielder. He's got a good pass on him which created the first try against the Maori. Blevins wouldn't have been slick enough to make that try.

Last minute changes to Canada's lineup as some players were not cleared to play, Barkwill(brawl) and Underwood(high tackled last week) have been pulled from the side. Piffero will start with March moving to #16, Jones slides over to FH with Hassler coming in at #14 with Pritchard still on the bench at #22(did he pick up a knock?).

Romania`s forwards are destroying us

12-7 Romania, they are using their kicking game and superior pack to put us under pressure and it is working... as well our rucking is atrocious, we have turned over the ball after every first phase!

Halftime 12-7 Romania... we are looking brutal... Blevins has already been taken off for Trainor and our front 5 has been downright dower!

Dala looks good though, don`t know why we don`t start this guy more often, he is the only guy actually getting around the pitch!
