[RWC2023] Ireland vs Romania (09/09/2023)

This is epic haha. What a start! What a pick up and run to set that up too!

I'm all for accessibility but this is the first match where the 'kit clash' is bizarre. They need to encourage sides to put different patterns in international tops to avoid most games having a side in white.

Hooohoooo!

Ireland held on to the ball well through the phases but disappointed in Romania's inability to challenge in contact so early in the match. Their defence so far is worse than I was fearing.

Loved that start by Romania, could see how much it meant. Otherwise going as predicted though.

We do not mean anything in world rugby since early 90s (we last beat France in 1990 in Auch, Scotland in Bucharest in 1991), so all I want for us is to avoid being completely humiliated.

Long gone are the days they wanted to open the Five Nations to us, but being behind the Iron Curtain did not help.
